Here is my most recent adventure... While visiting Logan this past weekend, my formor roommate, Amanda, and I went for a hike. Our adventure took us up Temple Fork Sawmill trail. This hike is not new to me. I have hiked it about once every year however, I have never done it with the fall leaves! It was beautiful! We stopped many times to take pictures! The senery was
amazing!
This is a very peaceful hike. The trail follows along a small stream/river. The river really adds to the amazing landscape. Depending on weather, some places of the trail may be extremely muddy. There were moments I was afraid I'd slip and fall on my bum!
Coming down from the hike, we came across a bridge. We weren't quite sure where it lead so we decided to check it out... we went about a half mile or so and realized this new trail wasn't going to meet up with another bridge so we had to turn back! It was great! I would love to have more time up there. Go camping and explore the many different trials that lead off from Temle Fork.
It was a lot of fun! I hope to hike it again only in early fall so most of the trees still have their leaves! Spring time is another great time to hike up there. It's so beautiful!
